The weather data is send by Insight Mars lander located on Elysium Planitia on Mars's equator.
A Sol is a 'day' on Mars its duration is 24 hours 39 minutes Earth's time. For the Insight lander we start counting at Sol 0 when it
touched down on November 26, 2018. It started sending data about the atmospheric conditions 2 days later. I have included the following
measurements : temperature in both oC and oF, wind speed in both km/hr and mph and atmospheric pressure in hPa.
A typical atmospheric pressure on Earth is about 1000 hPa whereas on Mars is about 7 hPa or 0.7%.
The atmospheric data is measured by Temperature and Wind for InSight (TWINS) instrument developed by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory
in California and Centro de Astrobiología in Spain. I have also included an equivalent weather report for my home city of Montreal, Canada
provided by a feed from environment Canada.
